Why Am I Getting an Error When Downloading Files?
Updated over a week ago

If you're experiencing an error when trying to download a file, check if the file name contains Cyrillic letters. Our system currently does not support file names with Cyrillic characters, which prevents proper embedding and causes the file to fall into the S3 error bucket.

How to Fix It

  1. Check the File Name – If the file contains Cyrillic characters, this is likely the issue.

  2. Rename the File – Change the file name to use only English letters before uploading.

  3. Try Downloading Again – Once renamed, the file should download as expected.

Next Steps

Our team is aware of this issue and is working on a permanent fix. In the meantime, renaming files using English characters is the best workaround.

If the issue persists even after renaming, please reach out to our support team at support@heartbeat.chat for further assistance.
