Course Cover Images
Your course has two different cover images that serve different purposes:
- Course Card Image - Displayed on course listings and previews (2:1 aspect ratio)
- Course Cover Image - Displayed on the actual course page (4:1 aspect ratio)
Because these images have different aspect ratios, they cannot use the same image file. You'll need to upload separate, appropriately-sized images for each.
How to Edit Course Cover Image
You can edit the course cover image through the course settings drawer. This cover image appears on your course page itself, separate from the card image used in listings.
Special Characters in Course Image File Names
When naming your course images, please follow these character restrictions:
Allowed:
- Letters (a-z, A-Z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Underscore (_)
- Hyphen (-)
Not Allowed:
- Accented characters (é, ñ, ü, etc.)
- Special symbols (@, #, $, %, etc.)
- Punctuation marks (except underscore and hyphen)
Additional ideas to customize your course
1. Customize the course layout: You can choose from different layout options to display your course content in a way that suits your teaching style.
2. Add multimedia content: To make your course more engaging, you can upload videos, images, and other multimedia content.
3. Enable discussions: You can enable discussion forums to allow students to interact with each other and share their thoughts and ideas.
