How to manage Accepted Payment Methods

How to: Go to Admin Settings > Payments > Configure Payments

Under the Payment Settings section, click on Manage next to Accepted Payment Methods. This will redirect you to the Stripe payment methods configuration interface.

 

Notice: Stripe is currently experiencing an issue with the Link payment method. Please do not enable this payment method at this time.

If you have Link enabled and users receive an error "The PaymentMethod provided (link) is not allowed for this SetupIntent…", please disable the Link payment method.

We are awaiting further information from Stripe as of April 22, 2025 and will update this message when the issue has been resolved."

 
 

How to configure Payment Methods in Stripe

  1. Ensure you are logged in to the Heartbeat-managed Stripe account.

  2. In the Stripe dashboard, go to Settings > Payments and Payouts > Payment Methods.

  3. Review and enable the payment methods you want to accept. Stripe supports various options, such as:

    • Credit and Debit Cards

    • Bank Transfers

    • Digital Wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay)

    • Local Payment Methods (e.g., SEPA Direct Debit, iDEAL)

  4. Save your changes to activate the selected payment methods.
