How do I block a Heartbeat user?
To block any user, click the shield icon next to their profile. A pop-up will appear—click Block to confirm. If you later decide to unblock them, click the shield icon again and select Unblock to reverse the action.
What does blocking affect? Can you still see member posts?
Blocking a community member means you will no longer receive messages or calls from them. Additionally, their posts, comments, and chat messages will no longer be visible. If you both are on the same channel, their content will be hidden.
If a blocked member attempts to send a direct message, they will receive a notification stating, “This member has blocked you.”
To see everyone that you blocked, click on the lower left profile icon and go to My Account > Account Settings > Blocked Users.
What happens when I report a post in Heartbeat?
A notification is sent to the community admin’s email, including details of the reported message and the reason for the report. The community admin is responsible for reviewing the report and taking appropriate action.
