Frequently Asked Questions
Is recurring revenue based off of 30 days or the month to date?
MRR is a measure of the recurring income you can expect to receive each month. It's based on your active subscriptions on the offer. MRR is not a snapshot of past 30 days or month-to-date, it's a snapshot of the monthly recurring revenue you can expect at the moment the calculation was done.
Can I track how many trials each week or month turned active?
We don't currently display this data in Heartbeat, but if you are using Heartbeat Payments, Stripe will have a full overview of your existing customers.
How is a member classified as churned?
If they cancel their subscription on the offer - i.e., if they were active on the offer and now are not active - then they are churned.
What classifies as paywalled?
Paywalled means the member is seeing a paywall (a screen showcasing they have to make a purchase before continuing) when logging in and cannot access the community. Someone can be both churned and paywalled as the latter is an outcome of cancelling and the paywall can be removed if they re-subscribe.
