If you have an existing Stripe account with active member subscriptions and you want to transfer them to a Heartbeat-managed Stripe business, Heartbeat provides a free payment migration service. Note: Currently, Heartbeat is only able to provide payment migration services for Stripe accounts.

How it works

1. You share an export of your Stripe data with us. 
2. We migrate it to the new Heartbeat-managed Stripe business. 
3. Your members will login, create their profile, and be members of your new Heartbeat community.

What to do next:

Please follow these steps in order.  

1. Connect Stripe to Heartbeat: Go to Settings > Configure Payments to connect your Stripe account. This will create a separate business within Stripe just for Heartbeat.
    

2. Create Offers in Heartbeat: Set up the Offers in your Heartbeat community to which you want to transfer your current subscribers.
    

3. Copy customer information: 

   3.1 Log into your Heartbeat Stripe (you can check this from the name in the top-left corner) and open this link. Copy the Heartbeat account ID (starts with acc_ ...) and paste it somewhere else for later.
   
   3.2 Switch to your old Stripe and open the Customers page.

   3.3 Click Copy -> Copy all customers:
   
   
   3.4 Paste the account ID of your Heartbeat Stripe from step 3.1.

   3.5 Click Continue, then Confirm.
    

4. Export Subscription Data: Export your subscription data from Stripe and send the CSV to us. We’ll use this to match renewal dates and create subscriptions in Heartbeat.
   When asked, choose "UTC" instead of your time zone and "All" for the date range.
