Difference Between Offer Bundles and Access Groups

Access Groups

Handle the “who sees what” in your community. They control which members can access specific content, courses, discussions, or resources.

Offers and Offer Bundles

Handle the “how members pay to see it.” This is where you set up pricing and paid memberships to grant access to specific groups.

When creating an Offer, you can link it to one or more Access Groups. For instance, if you're setting up tiered memberships, each membership level can be associated with different Access Groups, giving each tier its exclusive content or resources.

How to use Offers and Bundles

Define Access Groups

Start by setting up Access Groups based on the types of content you want to manage (e.g., general members, premium members).

Create Offers

Then, create an Offer that members can purchase to join those Access Groups.

Customize Membership Tiers

Within each offer, assign Access Groups that determine what each membership level can access (e.g., free members see general content, while premium members access exclusive resources).

Access Groups define what your members can see, while Offers control how members pay to unlock that content.

How to Create Offer Bundles

  1. Click on 'Create Bundle'
Under Offer Bundles, click the Create Bundle button to start.
  2. Choose Items for Your Bundle
Select the memberships, courses, content access, or events you want to include in the bundle. You can mix and match any items that will bring more value to your members.

  3. Set a Bundle Price
Give the bundle a price lower than the total cost of the items individually. This makes the bundle feel like a great deal to your members.

  4. Name Your Bundle
Choose a name that highlights what’s included to communicate the bundle’s value.

  5. Save and Activate
Once your bundle is ready, click Save and Activate. Your new Offer Bundle will now appear in the payment portal for your members to purchase.

Your Offer Bundle is now available for your members to explore and purchase, making it easier for them to get more involved in your community.
