Yes. A document can move between folders inside the same Resource, and it can move to a different Resource entirely.
Moving between folders
Drag the document in the sidebar and drop it into the folder you want. Documents reorder and move by dragging.
Folders themselves cannot be dragged, and neither can Resources.
Moving to a different Resource
- Open the document
- Click the three-dot menu in the top right
- Select Move
- Choose the Resource, and then the Folder inside it
- Click Move
Access follows the Resource, not the document. Moving a document into a paid Resource puts it behind that paywall, and moving it out into an open one makes it visible to everyone with access to that Resource. Check where it is going before you move it.
Why you might move a document
- You are reorganising and want related documents grouped together
- A document was created in the wrong place
- You have built a paid or internal Resource and want to shift content into it
