How to Link a Thread

  • Updated

You can grab a permalink to any post or comment inside your Heartbeat community β€” making it easy to reference specific content elsewhere.

To get the permalink:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right corner of any post

  2. Select "Permalink" from the menu

This will copy a direct link to that thread, which you can now share or embed anywhere you need.

πŸ”— Common Use Cases for Permalinks

Here are a few ways community builders regularly use permalinks:

  • Share with team or moderators
Quickly link to a post that needs a response, flag, or follow-up

  • Reference it in another thread
If you’re continuing a conversation or pointing back to prior context

  • Add into a document or guide
Link directly to a post as part of a resource or tutorial for your members

  • Drop it into a DM
Share a useful thread with a member who might benefit from it

  • Save important posts for later
Keep a list of helpful or high-engagement threads in your notes

Permalinks help you keep your content organized, resurface important conversations, and create more cohesion across your community.
