Monitor macro and granular Course progress data

There are 3 places you can monitor member progress in your Course. Each option has it's unique benefits providing either a zoomed out or drilled down view of course progress.

At the top of your Course overview page, you'll find a grey section dedicated to Course analytics. There are 3 metrics we track at the macro level for your course:

  1. Started rate: The percentage of members that are in your course group and completed at least 1 lesson.

  2. Completion rate: The percentage of enrolled members that completed your course.

  3. Average progress: The average progress of enrolled members in your course.

The average online course has a completion rate between 5 - 15%. Making your course more social will help increase completion rates and engagement. Learn more about building an engaging course curriculum here.

View course progress by user

View individual user progress by clicking on View User Progress on your Course overview page. The user progress table shows the last lesson completed, last completion date, and total progress for each enrolled member of your course.

You may search for individual members or export this list for external use.

Review assignment submissions

To review assignment submissions, click on View Submissions on your course overview page. From this window, you can view submissions to lessons by user by expanding the text submission field or opening attached files.

You can also use search to find a submission from a specific member.
