Starting a post in a discussion channel on Heartbeat is simple and works just like posting in a Facebook group.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Look for the “Start Typing…” box
   At the top of the discussion channel, you’ll see a box that says “Start Typing…” — this is where you’ll begin your post.

2. Write your post
   Click into the box, type your content, and add any formatting or attachments you’d like.

3. Select your channel (optional)
   If you’re posting from the main feed, you’ll see a channel selector in the bottom left corner, next to the Post button.
   Click that if you want to change which channel your thread is posted in.

4. Click “Post” in the bottom right corner
   That’s it! Your thread is now live in the channel.
