How to Edit a Document

Once you've opened the document you want to update:

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the document

  2. Select Edit from the dropdown

  3. Make your changes directly in the editor

  4. When you're done, scroll up and click the Save Changes button at the top

⚠️ If you leave the page without saving, your edits will be lost. Heartbeat will show a warning — but if you dismiss it, your changes won’t be saved.

 

 

This flow works across all documents in your community’s Documents section — great for updating templates, resources, or community guidelines quickly.
