The main permission level that allows you to moderate content is the "Moderate other Members" permission which you can locate under Settings > Members > Roles.
What does the "Moderate other Members" permission do?
When a user in your community has this permission, they can:
Pin & move threads in channels.
Mute members within the community.
Delete other member's threads, comments and messages.
Deactivate and reactivate members.
Mute and kick members from voice rooms.
How else can I keep moderating my community?
Set up a Code of Conduct for your community and add Moderators to enforce it.
You can delete channels, posts, comments, and chats (especially those against community guidelines).
Disable comments in your Documents.
Setting up read-only channels will allow users with the Create Channels permission to post new threads, which can limit unwanted behavior from members. Other users can still comment and react to posts. Before making the channel read-only, admins or permitted users must create a thread first. This ensures that additional threads can be added in the future.
Move threads to different channels to ensure discussions stay on topic and relevant to your user groups.
Create an internal process to decide on removing members from your community should they go against your guidelines. Enforce these removals and communicate them transparently to your members.
