Need to cancel just one date from a recurring event series in Heartbeat? You can do that without affecting the rest of the series.

Steps to Delete a Single Event

1. Go to the Events tab in your community sidebar.

2. Click on the specific event date you want to remove.

3. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the event page.

4. Select Delete.

You’ll now see three options:

• Delete this instance only – removes just this date

• Delete this and all future instances – ends the series from this point forward

• Delete all instances – removes the entire recurring series (past + future)

Use “delete this instance only” when you’re skipping a single event due to scheduling conflicts (e.g., holidays, travel, etc.)

Once deleted, the calendar will skip that specific day while keeping the rest of the series intact.
