How can we help?

Can I Add Quizzes into My Course Lessons?

✅ Quick Answer:

Not directly. Heartbeat doesn’t currently support native quiz-building functionality — and that’s by design.

We’ve found that quiz tools are highly specialized. Rather than building a basic in-house solution, we’ve focused on making it easy to embed your favorite quiz tools directly into your Heartbeat courses.

🛠️ How to Add a Quiz to a Course Lesson

There are 3 easy ways to do this inside Heartbeat:

  1. Use the Embed block in the Lesson Text
Add a tool like Typeform or ScoreApp directly inside your lesson via an HTML embed.

  2. Drop in a direct link
Paste a link to your quiz into your lesson content.

  3. Use an External Assignment in your Course
If you want students to complete the quiz and submit a response, you can create an external assignment linking out to the quiz.
