If your member signed up for your offer but can't access the community, this guide will help you understand why and what you can do about it.
Automatic Reminder Emails
Before taking manual action, keep in mind that we automatically send reminder emails to nudge members toward completion.
This setting is enabled by default for all communities. Learn more about automated onboarding emails.
To disable automatic reminders:
- Navigate to General Settings
- Toggle off the Pending User Follow-ups
How to Check Pending Members
- Go to Manage Members
- Click the Pending tab
You'll see members in one of two statuses:
Awaiting First Login
The member completed onboarding steps but hasn't logged into the community yet. Once they log in and verify their identity, they'll gain full access.
Paid, Onboarding Incomplete
The member paid successfully but hasn't finished creating their account. They can use their original invitation link to complete setup. Their payment will be automatically attributed to their account as long as they use the same email address.
How to Help Members Complete Onboarding
Option 1: Send a Bulk Reminder Email
Click "Send Email Blast" to send a reminder to all members currently stuck in pending status.
Option 2: Send Individual Invitation Links
Copy invitation links individually and send them directly to specific members.
