You can send emails to specific groups of members in your community using the Bulk Actions feature in Manage Members.
Steps to Email Members
- Go to Settings > Members > Manage Members in your admin dashboard
- Click Add Filter to narrow down which members you want to email
- Filter by criteria like:
- Access Groups (to email all members in a specific tier or course)
- Location
- Joined On date
- Last Login
- And more
- Select the members you want to email using the checkboxes
- Click Bulk Actions and then select Send Email
When to Use This Feature
This is helpful when you need to:
- Schedule group calls with course participants
- Send announcements to specific membership tiers
- Reach out to members who haven't logged in recently
- Communicate with everyone in a particular access group
Alternative: @Mention for Real-Time Notifications
If you need to notify members inside the community, you can @mention an entire group in a thread or channel. However, note that email notifications for @mentions may be delayed by up to 4 hours depending on members' notification settings.
