Member limits are based on your plan: Build (350), Grow (5,000), Scale (Unlimited).
Legacy plans: Starter, Growth, Business, stay the same.
You can view the features available to you from your Settings > System > Billing
Understanding which members count toward your plan's member limit helps you manage your community effectively and avoid unexpected billing changes.

Checking Your Current Member Count
To see how many members count toward your limit:
- Go to Settings > System > Billing
- Your current member count is displayed under your plan details:
Only active members count toward your plan, so an invitation that hasn't been accepted yet doesn't use a seat.
If you go over your limit, your members are never affected. They can keep logging in and using the community as normal. Admin access is restricted instead, until you upgrade your plan or reduce your member count.
Checking Your Member Count Through the API
If you manage members through the API, GET /users returns every member who counts toward your limit in a single response, with no pagination. The number of records it returns is the number counting against your plan.
Managing Your Member Count
If you're approaching your member limit, open the member you'd like to remove from Manage Members, click Remove User, and choose Deactivate.
Deactivating frees up their seat straight away, removes their access to your community, and preserves their content and data in case you'd like to reactivate them later. Choosing Delete instead removes them permanently.
