If you have an existing Stripe account with active member subscriptions and you want to transfer them to a Heartbeat-managed Stripe account, Heartbeat provides a free payment migration service. This will enable you to start accepting payments through Heartbeat without the hassle of moving your subscriptions over. Your users will not be affected at any point during this process.
How it works:
The Heartbeat team will help you set up a Heartbeat-managed sub-account on Stripe for future payments.
You'll download a CSV of your active subscriptions.
We’ll upload the data to your Heartbeat-managed Stripe account, make a few adjustments, and you'll be all set to process payments through Heartbeat!
How to Get Started:
Connect Stripe to Heartbeat: Go to Admin Settings > Configure Payments to connect your Stripe account. This will create a separate sub-account within Stripe just for Heartbeat.
Create Products in Heartbeat: Set up the products in your Heartbeat community to which you want to transfer your current subscribers.
Transfer Customer Data: Follow this guide to copy your customers' payment information from your old Stripe account to the new Heartbeat-managed sub-account.
Export Subscription Data: Export your subscription data from Stripe and send it to us. We’ll use this to match renewal dates and recreate subscriptions in Heartbeat.
