If a member initially joins as a free member and then decides to purchase an upsell, the purchase will automatically be attributed to the affiliate as long as it is made within 60 days of their joining.

When setting up the affiliate program, make sure to select a free invitation link for invitees to join the community for free and select the products you want to credit to the affiliate. This way, if the invitee makes a purchase using the upsell within the 60-day window, the affiliate will be credited automatically.
