Enroll members into your course with invitation links
Sending an invitation link is a flexible option that works for inviting new and existing members to your course. Invitation links allow members to join the course group, which gives them access to the course.
Course groups are automatically created when you create a course. They help us monitor member progress and access on the backend. You can find your automatically created course groups in Settings > Manage Groups.
To use an invitation link to invite members to your course, go to your course overview page and select Share Course. From here, you'll have 2 options:
Copy link: Share this link via email, text, social media, or your website to enroll students in your course.
Share via Email: Automatically send this invitation link to a list of emails.
Use the copy link option if you have a "Buy now" button on your website after setting your course as paid. Customize the landing page of this link to optimize your sales copy.
Give existing members free access to your course
You can give segments of your existing members free access to your course. On the member side, they will see the ability to start the course in the Courses section of your community.
To give groups or users in your community free access to your course, go to your course overview page and select Edit Course Info. Then, toggle ON Offer Free Access and select the groups and users you'd like to access this course for free. If you've set your course as paid, members included in this list will not have to pay to access the course.
Use upsells to invite existing members to your course
If you've set your course as paid or bundled it with a subscription membership for your community, you can use upsells to invite existing members to your course.
With upsells on, existing members that haven't purchased the course or the bundled membership will see the option to purchase it in the Courses section of your community. Once they click the Purchase button on the course card, they'll be show your custom upsell message and a payment screen.
If your course is paid with free lessons, the course will have a Start button and once the member completes all free lessons in the course, they'll see your upsell message. All course content will be locked except the lessons you've set as free.
1. Setting up upsells
To turn on upsells when turning your course into an individually paid product, just toggle ON upsells in the Edit course info menu.
If you're bundling your course into a paid membership, you'll need to turn on upsells for that membership product in Settings > Products.
