Yes — as an Admin, you can fully customize the names of most sidebar items in your community.

How to do it:

1. Click Settings icon in the top right corner of your community

2. Click Community Sidebar on the left-hand side

3. From here, you’ll see all the sidebar apps — enter a Custom Name to update the app's display name in your community

4. Click Save Changes in the top right corner to confirm your changes

You can also toggle visibility for most items (like Kickstart) and add your own custom links.

You can rename:

• Courses

• Docs

• Events

• User Directory

• Matchups

Why you might want to do this:

• If your community isn’t in English, renaming makes the interface feel more approachable and native

• You can match the labels to what your members are already used to (e.g. “Trainings” instead of “Courses” or “Library” instead of “Docs”)

• It helps you shape the overall tone and vibe of your community experience
