Can I hide menu items on the left sidebar?

You can choose what shows on the Community Sidebar by using the toggles under Settings > Community >  Sidebar or hovering over the item and clicking the 3-dot menu to select "Configure": 

Note: It is not possible to remove Threads from the sidebar, but you can rename it. See here: Can I rename the items on the left sidebar menu?
