β¨ Try this with Pulse
Pulse can configure private channel access for your groups. Open Pulse β
You can limit any discussion channel in Heartbeat to only be visible to certain members by making it private and tying it to specific access groups.
How to Limit Channel Access
When creating or editing a channel, toggle Set as Private Channel.
In the access section that appears, select the access groups (or individual members) who should see the channel.
Click Create or Save Changes.
Only members in the selected groups will be able to:
See that the channel exists
View posts, comments, and threads inside it
Everyone else wonβt even know the channel is there.
π‘Tip: Always include your admin group in private channel access so moderators can still manage content.

FAQ
What happens if you add the wrong permissions to a Channel
If a channel isn't visible in the sidebar, it's likely missing the correct access group or the Administrator role hasn't been added. Ask Pulse AI to review the channel's permissions and add the right group, Administrator role, or your own user.
