How do I get Events to automatically show up on my personal calendar?

Heartbeat will automatically add an Event to your calendar when you RSVP to it, even if you have your notifications set to "None". 

You'll need to press the "RSVP" button for the the Event to be added. If you are the host, you will not be able to RSVP as you are automatically included in the Event.
