Resetting your community with Pulse
As there isn't a reset button in Heartbeat, resetting your community means clearing out existing content and structure so you can rebuild from scratch without creating a new community entirely.
Below, you'll see a video walkthrough of how Pulse can help you through this process in minutes.

Start the process of rebuilding your community now by asking Pulse "I need to reset my community". Open Pulse →
Resetting your community manually
Step 1 – Assess the status of your memberships and lock down your community
- If you have active paid subscriptions, do not delete your Offers before making sure those members are either compensated or aware of the upcoming changes.
- Change your Sign Up Pages to be "pre-approved" (or delete them altogether) to stop new members from onboarding.
Step 2 – Delete existing content manually
Work through each area of your community until every content piece is deleted:
- Channels and categories — How to delete channels →
- Courses — open each course and delete from the course settings
- Events — delete upcoming events from the Events page
- Offers — archive or delete offers from Admin Settings > Offers
- Workflows — remove automations you no longer need from Admin Settings > Automation
Step 3 – Rebuild manually (or with Pulse)
Once your community is cleared out, head to Pulse and describe what you're building. Pulse can create channels, set up offers, configure workflows, and build out your onboarding flow.
Rebranding your community with Pulse
Rebranding can be a very time-consuming process, as you create new spaces in your community, define a new visual style, onboarding and refine your new purpose. Or you can ask Pulse to do it in less than 10 minutes:
