1. Why does RSVP automatically apply to all instances of a recurring event?
When a member RSVPs to one date of a recurring event, Heartbeat automatically applies their RSVP to all occurrences in the series. This ensures that members are consistently added to all related sessions without needing to RSVP for each one separately.
2. Can members RSVP to only one date in a recurring event?
No, currently, RSVP applies to all instances in a recurring series. If a member RSVPs to one, they are signed up for all. Likewise, if they unselect RSVP, they are removed from all instances.
3. How can I allow members to RSVP for only specific dates?
If you want members to RSVP for individual dates instead of all at once, the best solution is to create separate, non-recurring events for each session. This way, members can pick and choose which dates they want to attend.
4. Can I edit individual events in a recurring series?
At this time, edits to a recurring event will apply to all occurrences. If you need different event details for each session, we recommend creating standalone events instead of a recurring series.
