Heartbeat Desktop vs. Mobile App Features

Heartbeat supports five platforms:

  • Web (desktop only)
  • Desktop app
  • iOS app
  • Android app
  • Branded apps (iOS and Android)

Community Settings are desktop-only. All configuration, setup, and creation workflows are only available when you use Heartbeat through your web browser on desktop.

What admins can do on mobile (limited access)

  • Delete posts/comments (content moderation)
  • Post to read-only channels
  • View groups when composing DMs
  • Access the Help & Support link in Settings
  • See matchmaking admin prompts and video processing status messages (configuration requires desktop)

Desktop-only admin features

  • Creating/editing offers or events
  • Role management
  • Community settings
  • Matchmaking configuration
  • Billing
  • Audience targeting
  • API keys
  • Custom domains
  • Affiliate/referral program
  • Admin controls on member directory
