Here are a few common reasons to rearrange:

Move your most-used channels to the top so new members don’t miss them. -
Group similar topics together
Place all support-related channels near each other, or organize by theme (e.g. “Learning,” “Networking,” “Events”). -
Reflect community priorities
If your community is seasonal or cohort-based, move current discussion channels to the top, and archive old ones below. -
Improve onboarding experience
New members are more likely to explore when the layout feels intuitive and not cluttered.
