- Move channels between different sections
- Organize content in a way that better reflects how members use the community
Why rearrange your channels?
Reordering channels isn’t just about aesthetics — it helps improve the clarity, usability, and focus of your community.
Here are a few common reasons to rearrange:
- Make important content easier to find
Move your most-used channels to the top so new members don’t miss them. - Group similar topics together
Place all support-related channels near each other, or organize by theme (e.g. “Learning,” “Networking,” “Events”). - Reflect community priorities
If your community is seasonal or cohort-based, move current discussion channels to the top, and archive old ones below. - Improve onboarding experience
New members are more likely to explore when the layout feels intuitive and not cluttered.
