Isolated Groups
Updated over a week ago

With isolated groups, you are able to limit search, direct messages, the user directory, online status, presence (whether someone is viewing a post, doc, etc.) and @ mentions to only members that are part of the group. This means that members that are not part of the group will not be able to see or interact with any members that are.

For example, any member from Group A (isolated group) will not be able to DM or @ mention any member from Group B (isolated group). Isolated groups can help if you want to keep the groups in your community separate or private from each other. Admins and moderators are not affected by isolated groups.
