Invitation links can invite users to join your community. To create an invitation link, go to General Settings > Invitation > and click the + Create Invitation Link button.​

Invitation links can be set to Evergreen or Pre-approved.

For both scenarios, you have the option to send an email invite to people you want to join using the link.

If you have a free or open community where any member can join, you can use evergreen links. For private groups or groups where you want members to wait to sign up, you can use pre-approved links.

To change an invitation link from evergreen to pre-approved, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the invitation link and then select Update. You can also adjust the role and groups associated with the invitation link from the update menu.

You can create and customize the landing page for an invitation link by clicking on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and then Customize.

When customizing, you can add a header (title) and description for your community. You can also embed a video and customize the button text (eg. Continue, Next, Let's get started!).

You can send an email invitation link in Heartbeat for evergreen and pre-approved links.

When creating the link, you can add your invitees' email addresses by clicking Manage Invites and adding several email addresses in those sections, separating them using commas or line breaks. For pre-approved links, you can add the email address to the approved emails and send an invitation email or only add it without sending an email.

Once the invitation link is sent to your guests, a list of invitees will be created. You can choose to resend the emails or remove specific invitees.

To resend an email invite to an individual, simply click on "Resend" next to their email address. Alternatively, you can use the "Resend All" button to send the email invite again to everyone on the list.

You can remove an invitee by clicking "Remove" to the right of their email. If you remove an email from a pre-approved link, the person will not be able to sign up through that invitation link using their email address.

To delete an invitation link, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and then select "Delete". Deleting the invitation link will render it unusable for signing up to your community.
